Official Rules

NO PURCHASE, TEST DRIVE OR SUBMISSION TO SALES PRESENTATION NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.  PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

ELIGIBILITY: The Chevrolet Theatre Sweepstakes, the ("Promotion") is open to legal residents of New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, Maine, Rhode Island, and Pennsylvania who are 18 years of age or older with a valid drivers license at time of entry.  Employees, officers and directors of General Motors Corporation ("Sponsor") and General Motors dealerships, The Barber Shop Marketing ("Administrator") and their respective divisions, affiliates, subsidiaries and agents, and any others engaged in the development, production or distribution of promotional materials or prizes for this Promotion, and members of the immediate families or households of any of the above are not eligible to enter or win. This Promotion is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.

HOW TO PLAY: Complete an official electronic entry form on the kiosk inside the Chevrolet Theatre, in Wallingford, CT during designated performances between the following dates: May 1, 2008 and December 14, 2008 ("Entry Period").  Limit one (1) kiosk entry per person for the entire entry period.  Multiple entries form the same person or email address or entries will disqualify all entries submitted by that individual.  Entries that are incomplete or corrupted are void.  Only official electronic entry forms may be used.  All entries become Administrator's property and will not be returned.

ONLINE MEANS OF ENTRY: From May 1, 2008 at 12:00 am, Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) through 12/14/08, at 11:59 pm EDT, complete an official online entry form on the www.pickyourchevy.com web site.  Limit one (1) official online entry per person. Multiple Official online entries by an individual entrant will disqualify all entries submitted by that individual. Bonus entries can be earned by the following two methods:

WINNER SELECTION & NOTIFICATION: 
Finalist Prize Winners:
A total of ten (10) finalists (see prize description below) will be chosen for the Grand Finale Event Key-Off that will be conducted on a to be determined date in December, 2008 (See description below).

The potential winners will be notified by phone and must claim their prize within 24 hours of the notification.  The winner must complete an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability and Publicity Release within 48 hours of notification or prize will be forfeited and an alternate will be selected, time permitting. Limit one instant prize and one finalist prize per household.

Instant Prize Winners:
A total of fifty-six (56) prizes (see prize descriptions below) will be randomly selected by the online computer:

The potential instant winners will be notified by either telephone or e-mail and must claim their prize within 72 hours of the notification.  The winner must complete an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability and Publicity Release within 72 hours of notification or prize will be forfeited.  Unclaimed prizes will not be awarded. Limit one instant prize and one finalist prize per household.

Key Off Event:  Finalists will be required to check-in with a photo ID (state or federally-issued) at the Chevrolet Theatre, 95 S Turnpike Rd, in Wallingford, CT at a to be determined time on a to be determined date in December, 2008.  All finalists will be informed of the date and time as soon as possible.  If a Finalist must forfeit due to scheduling conflicts, an alternate winner will be chosen from the same pool of entries, time permitting. Any finalist who does not check in by the designated time will forfeit their prize. No alternates will be selected.  Each finalist will draw a number that indicates the order in which they will attempt to open the vehicle ("1" starts first). 

At a to be determined time, all finalists will be told to line up in order starting with the person who has the smallest number.  Each finalist will be given a sealed envelope that has a number that corresponds to their place in line. Each envelope has a key inside.  The first finalist, whose key opens the driver's side of the Chevrolet, wins their choice of a Chevrolet Aveo, Malibu or Traverse. After the Grand Prize has been awarded, no more attempts to open the driver's side will be permitted.

Total ARV of all prizes:   $37,750           

All prize details not specified herein, including but not limited to color, options package, accessories, and other specifics of the Grand Prize, shall be at Administrator's sole discretion.  No prize substitutions, transfers or cash alternatives permitted, except Administrator reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable.  All decisions of the Administrator are final in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes.  Odds of winning any prize depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

Grand Prize winner is solely responsible for any expenses in connection with the vehicle not expressly described herein as being awarded including, without limitation, the following: (i) income, federal, state or local taxes; (ii) sales tax, title and license; (iii) insurance, registration fees, delivery charges, dealer preparation fee and/or additional options, additions or equipment; and (iv) any additional expenses not described herein as being awarded. The winner must have a valid U.S. driver's license issued in his/her state of residence and proof of insurance to take delivery.  Manufacturer's limited warranty applies to the Grand Prize.  The winner must take delivery of vehicle at a New England area dealership at a time, dealership and date to be determined by the Winner with the approval of the Sponsor.  Winner may be required to execute additional release(s) required by Administrator. 

First Place, Second Place, and Instant prize winners are solely responsible for any expenses in connection with the prizes not expressly described herein as being awarded including, without limitation, the following: (i) income, federal, state or local taxes (ii) any additional expenses not described herein as being awarded.

The finalist prizes will be awarded if properly claimed.  All finalist winners must provide his or her transportation to the Chevrolet Theatre in Wallingford, CT for the Grand Finale Event. 

CONDITIONS:  Failure by any potential winner to return any requested documents within the specified number of days after such documents are issued, the return of such documents or any prize notification as undeliverable, or non-compliant with these Official Rules may result in disqualification, and, at the sole discretion of Administrator the selection of an alternate winner from among all remaining eligible entries received will be chosen, time permitting.

Sponsor and Administrator and their respective parent companies, divisions, affiliates and subsidiaries, and each of their directors, officers, employees, agents, representatives, successors and assigns, and all others associated with the development and execution of this sweepstakes, including, without limitation, the prize providers, are not responsible for: printing or other errors; mechanical errors; inaccurate, fraudulent, incomplete, illegible, late, lost, stolen, misdirected or damaged entries; or any delays in delivery of prize; or bodily injuries, death, losses or damages of any kind, without limitation, that may arise from or in connection with entrants' participation in this Sweepstakes or acceptance, possession or use of the prizes, or participation in prize-related activities.  Administrator reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify: any entries submitted fraudulently, the entries of any entrant that tampers with the operation of the Sweepstakes or any entrant who otherwise violates the Official Rules of the Sweepstakes.  If, for any reason, the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Administrator which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes. By accepting any prize, the winner agrees that the Sponsor and its designees may use his/her name, voice, photograph, likeness, address (city and state), biographical information, prize information and/or statements about this sweepstakes for advertising and publicity purposes in all media worldwide at the discretion of the Sponsor without limitation, further compensation or notice.

WINNER'S NAME:  For a list of winners, available after 12/31/08, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to: WINNERS LIST, Chevy Theatre Sweepstakes, P.O. BOX 820815, Dallas, TX  75382-0815.  Requests must be received by date 1/15/09.
